What's on My NetGalley Shelf?

Who is excited for 2022 releases?

Me!

Many years ago, I set up an account with NetGalley to access anticipated releases as well as to discover books coming out that just have not been getting much hype. Up until a few months ago though, I never requested because reading on an eReader is not great.

So what changed?

All the books that I wanted early access to either weren’t being offered physically or I simply just don’t want to wait haha.

Today, I am going to share what books are currently on my NetGalley shelves and what has me hyped for them!

Releases: January 4th, 2022

So, on paper, this does not look like the type of book I would go for. Namely, it’s a contemporary. BUT it’s from Revell (a publisher I discovered this year and has so many books I’ve enjoyed), it’s the first book in a new series, and our lead is an EMS helicopter pilot who has to work with a serial killer on the loose and alongside a FBI special agent. It just sounds like a great ride.

Releases: January 18th, 2022

I requested this one before I realized it was book 2 in a series haha so I need to get and read book 1 first. But this one is published by Bethany House (another recently discovered publisher), is set in the early 1900’s, and has 2 leads that are on an archaeological adventure with the treat of pirates! I’m sorry but that is a must-read for me.

Releases: April 5th, 2022

I had been on the lookout for this one since I saw Shadow Mountain Publishing share it online only a week after I had been thinking about how interesting it would be to read a fictionalized story about the ship that came to the rescue of the Titanic. It was truly meant to be!

Releases: May 10th, 2022

Let me tell you, I squeed with excitement when I heard this book was happening and again when I was approved for this eARC from Sourcebooks Landmark. This is the unexpected (but desperately wanted) sequel to one of my favourite reads from 2021, The Girl in His Shadow. I cannot wait to get more from these characters! A hisotircal fiction that offers a deep and detailed look at a woman wanting to be a doctor in a time that it was not easily accepted.

Releases: February 1st, 2022

Most of what Shadow Mountain Publishing puts out are must-reads for me at this point. This one takes place on the brink (and I believe during) the French revolutions and our 2 leads have somewhat different views on the subject. Their growing relationship will be rife with risk, love, and doing what they each believe is for the best. I fully intend to cry reading this one.

Releases: February 15th, 2022

Spoiler alert for my 2022 anticipated releases post later this month haha. This is book 7 in a historical mystery series that I absolutely adore and I could not pass up the chance to read this installment a bit early!

Releases: February 15th, 2022

Another spoiler for my most anticipated releases but this one is book 7 of a contemporary mystery series set in the Yukon and is actually the final installment. I am going to be so sad to have this series end and it still blows my mind that I have the last book and can read it any time.

Releases: March 8th, 2022

I feel like I should be sponsored by Shadow Mountain Publishing haha. This is another historical from their Proper Romance imprint set in the early 1800s where a widow falls for a valet only to discover the man is actually an Earl! This just sounds like so much fun.

So there we have it - what’s currently on my NetGalley shelves!

Do any of these peak your interest? You can look forward to some reviews from my later on but, for not I have a lot of reading to do!

Until next time, keep reading!
